t-shirt transport

Mai 14th, 2014

For a promo-gag the tv-channel N24 transported a neromonga T-shirt from Leipzig to Berlin and made a funny clip of it. As a surprise, there was two Cheerleaders of Alba Berlin to deliver it. I like.

The Barbecue Bible

Mai 9th, 2014

Amazing. This book has all you need for a great bbq inside. From barbecue coal up to aluminium foil, even salt is printed on a sheet of paper. The Barbecue Bible has been sent to master barbecue chefs in Brazil and it will soon be available in selected bookstores. Yummi.

In the world of freefonts it is not easy to find a nice kerned font for body text. Until yet. Lora is a well-balanced contemporary serif, modern but classy with roots in calligraphy. A paragraph set in Lora will make a memorable appearance because of its brushed curves in contrast with driving serifs. It is designed by Olga Karpushina in 2011 and downloadable here.

Basic but lovely – Lato is a sanserif typeface family designed in the Summer 2010 by Warsaw-based designer Łukasz Dziedzic. It comes with so many glyphs per style in over 150 languages… The freefont sanserif typeface was published under the open-source Open Font License by his foundry tyPoland, with support from Google. „Lato” means „Summer” in Polish and that‘s the point: winter is over. You can download it here
